I needed a second headset for my daughter and guest passengers. The headset was not going to get much use so price and light weight were very important. High quality aviation headsets are expensive, that's a fact. Finding an inexpensive headset that will provide comfort and noise protections is a lot to ask for. I tested the set flying a 172N, this is a older airplane, it's not quiet and the avionics are dated. My standard headset to compare are David Clark H10 13.4 at $300.00. The nice feature of this set for a passenger/guest is they are very light, they fit a child (8 year old) too. The set comes with a microphone muff, however it works better without the muff and placing the microphone close to your lips as possible are helpful. I consulted with the people at Softcomm, they were very helpful in answering question about their complete line of budget priced headsets.

I have an 08 pontiac G6 GT 4dr sdn. These took about 10 minutes total to install. Very easy, just slip into the window well, slide up the windows a few times to set them, and bam, done. They are very sleek, not bulky like AVS. Also, NO TAPE to your car.

I realize the AVS are about 40% less. You get 40% less quality. They may be thicker, but need tape, and are known to crack. The weathertech are light, not bulky, and look great on my car. I would recommend these to any car owner looking for window visor/deflectors. These will last me a long time to come, and can open the window during a storm so I do not have to run the defroster/compressor now!

Beck Arnley 158-1071 Air Mass Sensor Review

I was having a problem with my late 90's Subaru Legacy stalling and running extremely weakly, starting about 30 seconds after the car started when cold, and lasting for about 5 mins, after which the temperature gauge showed it had reached normal operating temperature. The car would only go about 20 mph until it was warm.

A quick read-up online and in the manual suggested the mass air flow sensor, that reads the air flow just after the air filter, was probably at fault. Tried to clean it with a cleaner spray, but no luck. I understand these sensors wear out about every 150k miles.

Ordered this and took about 10 mins to install. Four bolts, a clamp and an electrical plug. Don't be poking around inside it with a screwdriver, the sensor is fragile and you'll break it. The engine took about 30 mins to adjust to the new sensor, but now it's running great.

Can't really compare it to other brands. Price was at least $50 less than I'd pay at a local store, and I'm sure a whole lot less than at the dealer. Saved myself a few hundred by doing this common repair myself.
