I received this kit for my birthday for my 2002 Dodge Dakota. The kit took about 30 minutes to install, but when I was done, neither of the lights worked. I e-mailed the company and Sam got back to me with 10 minutes of the email!!! I couldn't believe he called back so quickly. He informed me that some of the kits were manufactured with a connector that had been reversed. He told me to reverse the connection at the ballast and presto! Everything worked perfectly. Scorpion Solid EXO-C110 Cruiser Motorcycle Helmet - White / X-Large Review

I have owned this helmet for a week. It is a little bit bulky, but it does not give you that silly look that so many half helmets do. Compared with another DOT approved half helmet I have that I think looks a lot thinner, this one is only .2 inches wider and a bit taller, but that does not translate into a very silly look.

I have an exo-500 in XL, but ordered this one in medium according to the size chart, and the fit is right on. It is very comfortable to wear, and the straps are comfortable on the neck and throat.

Reading the Exo-100 reviews, I think they have corrected the issue of the helmet tilting up in the wind, this one rides just above my brow, and does not seem to move at highway speed. The face shield is excellent, no visual distortion at all, and covers the eye and upper cheek well, almost touching the lower bridge of my nose.

The quality seems very good, it packs easily in my bags (unlike my exo 500 which I otherwise love)

If you are looking for a half helmet, and if Scorpion fits your head shape, I would definitely recommend this one.

AFX FX Magnus Helmet - 4X-Large/Flat Black Review

I bought this helmet for a couple of people who occasionally ride with me, that have a very large head. I did not want to spend big bucks on something that would only be used a few times a year, but I wanted them to have full protection. This helmet gave me that option.

It is indeed a 4XL helmet, and it fit them, where my 2XL helmet would not. They could not even pull the 2XL on at all. This 4XL was a bit snug, but doable for an hour or two on the bike.

For $100, you would not expect much, and you don't get much. The liner is very thin and has little padding. My comparison points are Scorpion EXO-700 helmets and a HJC IS-16. Both of those helmets give luxury quality for mid-range price. The AFX Magnus gives economy quality for economy price, but with good features, and gives the large-headed the option for full-face protection at a very low price. I do wish that AFX had skipped supplying a helmet bag in favor of a more plush interior.
