ATL Autosports Front Pair of Performance Double Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors - ATL31314 Review

Did some research and bought this pair since it was one of the cheapest on the web.
After a week of use here is my review
Pros:
1-They were less than $100 which was one of the cheapest on the web
2-They look great on the car
3-They fit perfectly (2008 Lexus IS250 front rotors)
4-After a week of use, no vibration at high speed braking (meaning they are not warped)
Cons:
1-They seem to be made of less quality material (expected at this price range!)
2-They are not vented rotors (internal fins are straight instead of directional and won't act as ventilator to cool rotor).
3-The outside perimeters of rotor is not made of rust proof material nor painted, so it is prone to rust over time.
4-The center of rotor is not painted black, I think original part on Lexus has black color.
5-I've noticed a noticeable reduction in break power (due to less surface area because of drilled holes and slotted lines, and incompatibility of materials on original Lexus break pads and the new rotor).
6- slight increase in noise level that starts high right after installation and fades away as you drive with it and smooth out the surface of the rotor. you may hear this noise when you are about to come to a complete stop. the noise is more like two dry metals rubbing against each other, kinda like when your pads are warn and the rough metals are touching/sliding against each other.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1-When you first install the rotor the pads may not contact the entire surface area of the rotor. In my case there was only a 1 inch area on the outside perimeter of the rotor that was contacting the pads. Therefore your breaking power is significantly LOW! drive slowly and carefully with it while keeping a distance from the cars in front of you; at least the first 30 to 50 miles.
2- as the pads start to wear out they start to match the surface of the rotor and your breaking power increases. Currently i'm at 100 miles and I have about 60% contact surface between the pads and rotors, and my breaking power is coming back to normal.
3- There will be reduction in breaking power. don't buy this thinking that you will get more braking power from the rotor. because you have less surface area. Also, you don't get the cooling fins in between the rotor, so I don't think there is much difference in how cool your rotors are performing. I had much better breaking power with my old original pads, and they would stop on the spot! can't say the same about these.
4- IT IS LEFT AND RIGHT SPECIFIC. meaning one is for left and one is for right and you can't switch them! pay attention to the direction of slots and holes on the rotor. It moves in the same direction as the tire! I found this the hard way.
CONCLUSION:
I bought these because they look great on the car. The only benefit you get from higher end rotors is that they run cooler on track during race, well...I drive this car in the city and don't plan on racing. and you don't get much increase power unless you change to a caliper with more pistons. both high end or low end rotors will perform better in rain. so far I've been happy with these. I may update this review once i see full contact between the rotors and the pads to let you guys know if performance has changed.
