I have owned this bag for about 4 years. It has been on the back of my '02 VFR for many miles, through rain and shine and has never let me down. It's also accompanied me on trips to Italy, NY, So Cal, and other places I've flown to. Simply put, if I'm leaving my house for more than one day, it goes with me. Through all of this abuse (mine and baggage handler's), it has held up *perfectly* well.

This bag is big enough for 2-3 days of clothing and toiletries. The three outer pockets expand, allowing you to really stuff them full. I've never worried about them ripping out as this bag is built tough!

When attached to the bike, the bag fits neatly over the rear seat and I use various points to secure it with the beefy hooks and cords. In fact, the picture used here is a VFR tail end. When using this bag off the bike, the straps tuck away under a piece of fabric on the bottom. There are also two straps used to strap down other items to the top of the bag. Very handy.

Two gripes, but very minor: The two zippers for the main compartment are along one short end and then diagonally across the top. It makes it a little difficult to dig for stuff I packed under the non-zippered end. Also, it does not come with a rain cover - that is purchased separately from ROADGEAR.

Bottom line: If you are thinking about a tailbag, buy this one.
