These were just what I needed. I purchased a Road Star with the Freedom Dual Exhaust that had the standard baffles and they were just too loud for my taste. These quiet baffles still have a great throaty rumble without blasting your ear drums.
To remove the old baffles, I removed each tail pipe and end cap and banged them down vertically on a piece of wood. Once they were loosened and closer to theend, I was able to pull them out with a pair of pliers. The new baffles dropped partially in, and then I had to tap them the rest of the way with a block of wood and mallot. Just make sure you line up the screw holes for securing them in place before you drive them in all the way.
