I looked up this product when trying to expand the cargo area of the Patriot. I needed to add a metal cargo carrier to the rear. My wife's Patriot did not come with a stock hitch. Dealership quoted $350 to install one. Found this on Amazon for $65 INCLUDING shipping. A true steal. Arrived at the house in 4 days. Installed in 10 minutes. 4 bolts and a torque wrench later... perfect. Couldn't ask for a higher quality product at a better price. Add in the ease of installation and you have one great combination. Comes with a "Euro" style ball mount should we ever need to tow a small U-Haul, etc.
