I purchased this for a 1999 sv-650 just so I would have headlights to keep the cops from bugging me. I never intended to ride in the dark and i didnt expect the cyclops to provide enough light to be able to ride in the dark. Its not nearly as good as the factory light, but i can ride in the dark very comfortably with a visible range that is very impressive for such a small light.
The only problem with it is the windscreen is very flimsy, so at 50+ mph, it starts to get pushed down with the wind. I made a brace that attaches to my triple tree and holds it in place and no more problems.
