Well I failed the smog test here in Ca and labled a gross poluter. And my 1995 S10 was going through gas like it was water. And I was only getting 200 miles to a tank of gas. So I read that the vapor and map sensor if they go bad could cause you to go through a tank of gas like nothing. I thought this was going to be a pain in the butt to remove and replace this but it took my longer to get the tools and getting under the truck then to replace it. 10 mins to remove and replace. I still did not pass the smog test when I had it retested. but my gas milage did go back up to normal. I still had to replace the Cat and oxygen sensor to pass the smog test here in California.
