Installed these on an 03 acura cl type-s 6m/t. Currently running eibach pro-kit springs, and I replaced my LCA bushings, sway bar end links, tie rod ends, upper control arm and ball joint and lower ball joint prior to installing these, so I got a pretty good feel for the difference they made. Let me just say, these are without a doubt much better shocks than the eibachs I removed (I had blown one out running over a deer carcass in traffic and decided to go with these as eibach's are only sold in sets of 4, I figured I could adjust these to match the previous ones). The finish is much better, the fork slipped right on versus the old ones I had to force and work it on.The ride quality is excellent, I haven't tried their softest setting yet (1) but at 2, they were a bit firmer than eibachs and just felt way more solid - the rebound rate seems to be better calibrated relative to the spring rate. I usually drive with them at a 3 or 4 (firmest) and they still feel great even with the softer ones in rear (on a fwd car the rear suspension isn't nearly as important as rwd or awd). With them at a 4, I can making evasive maneuvers on the highway going 100+ and the car never feels floaty. If you get these and have an accord based car, I recommend strongly getting new radius rod bushings (moog makes them) to reduce the wheel hop otherwise all the added stiffness will just mean your radius rod is that much spongier and you'll probably get some nasty wheel hop. And even on their firmest setting they still have a better overall ride quality than the eibachs - they aren't a whole lot harsher, and make up for it by feeling more controlled - like I said earlier the rebound on these seems to be much better, and the oscillations are damped almost immediately versus the eibachs which seemed to rock back and forth once or twice before settling.
Installed them myself, took about 90 min for the pair w/air tools, and that includes popping one back out as I had the top hat lined up a bit off.
