First of all, I was absolutely impressed at the quality of the piece. Extremely great metalwork and heavy gauge steel.The description didn't state, however, that this is really designed fit over the tailgate; not necessarily as a skin replacement, which can be done with a little work though. But, there is no lip to fold over the sides and you will need to fill the gap where the hump is eliminated.
I have nothing bad to say as the unit is otherwise exceptional; I just wish the description had been a little better.
