The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

I purchased a set of EBC yellowstuff brake pads for my 1986 Corvette, which I use in SCCA Time Trial and Hillclimb events. These pads have excellent grip and provide high friction levels that seem to improve as they get hotter. Even at tracks where brakes are used heavily, such as Talladega Gran Prix Raceway or Road Atlanta, I never experienced any fade due to the pads (I did boil brake fluid at TGPR, but a swap and bleed got me back on track). The pads work extremely well, and the only complaint was the shims on the back coming loose. Peeled them off and it had no negative affects on braking. Ran these all season - gentle on rotors, but they will wear over the course of a season - I will be buying another set for next year and keep these pads as reserves.
