Installed easily on my 2007 Volvo S-80. The special tool for getting the bolts into the square chassis bar was very helpful. No need to remove the bumper plastic - reach up and behind the bumper to get the bolts in. I cheated and used a tow hook access through the bumper on one side. The hitch fit very well. As expected, it required a few knuckle bumps and lots of 1/8 rotation turns to get the bolts tight. Works great!

The handling characteristics were dramatically improved. Before, when you would hit a dip in the road while going through a sweeping turn at speed (40 mph or greater), you'd be knocked off course. Now, with the IAS shocks, the Explorer holds its line regardless of the bumps or dips in the road. I'm very happy with the outcome. Pros:
+ Quite water resistant.
+ Good size
+ Good price
+ External pocket for phone or keys
+ Really good hook-and-loop closures, plus straps to hold shut.
+ Clean and simple
+ Lightweight
+ No metal to scratch the bike or something that I get too close to, like another vehicle.

Cons:
- No way to lock. You can always open from the side, even if the D-Rings have a lock on them.
- Although they have quick release connectors, you have to put quite a few cable ties on these puppies to hold them steady. Once you get them where you want them, don't plan on being able to quickly take them off.
- In order to really secure these to my saddlebag mounts, I felt the need to cut some slits in the sides to add a couple more cable ties. The bags are so light, they seem to flop in the wind if you don't secure them adequately.

These bags are quite large. Here's all the junk I carry in them regularly:
* A couple of water bottles
* First Aid Kit
* Rain Jacket
* Folding stool
* Towel
* Cleaning spray
* Granola bars
* ball cap
* Rain cover
* spare helmet visor
* Security cable and padlock
