Features include fan cooling, high speed MOSFET power supplies, studio grade BiPolar output transistors and 12dB adjustable crossovers. A unique bass equalizer and Tri-Mode operation capability round off this feature packed series. All Xenith amplifiers can be mounted in the traditional horizontal position or vertically with the included vertical mount brackets. Models Xa175.2 and Xa400.1 come standard with dashboard bass controls. The Xenith Xa175.4 has a power handling of 110 Watts x 4 at 4 ohm RMS, 175 Watts x 4 at 2 ohm RMS, 350 Watts x 2 at 4 ohm Bridged RMS, with a 1400 Watt Peak. The frequency response is 10Hz - 40 kHz with a channel separation of >50dB. It has a minimum total harmonic distortion of <0.1%, a signal-to-noise ratio of >97dB, and a damping factor of >198 @ 100Hz. I have this hooked up via bridged mode to 2 kennwood 12" 400watt RMS aubs, I have the amp turned up about half way now as i'm in the 20hr break in period for the subs. I cant wait till I can turn it up and unleash its power. I looked at this and thought that it must be crap since its 1400watts peak and sub $200, but for the price I dont think you could do much better, I had it powering the subs for about 4-5 hours yesterday and it was warm to the touch but no where near hot, it dissipates the heat well and supply's tons of power. Only reason it's not a 5 star is due to that fact that I have yet to crank it up all the way!
