The new EBC Yellowstuff compound is essentially a race pad but with a big difference in that it works from cold and can be safely used on the highway. If you want the ultimate in high friction braking this is the pad to choose. Brakes feel superb from first touch of the pedal and stay effective up to race temperatures. Maximum stopping is prime requirement and for short duration track use. Its dust rating is similar to OEM parts. All pads come with edge chamfers, center line slots, noise reduction shims and OEM hardware as needed. All EBC pads feature the EBC brake in surface coating which helps pads seat quickly after install.

Installed them on a Nissan Pathfinder R50 2004 , including the front rotors. Researched well before buying.
In the beginning I was afraid of overheating. I have used them 1,500 Km so far. They get better with time ( meaning break up time).
Last week almost had a car crash. A small car just crossed in front of me, without looking for upcoming traffic ( they had a stop).
Had to hit the brakes hard, ABS went into action. Loud sound, burnt tire smoke was produced due to friction . I was able to avoid hitting the car. Great buy.
Once you try an EBC product, you will stay with their brand. Good quality products!!!

March 11 2013. After 10,000 KM they were worn out. Quality is very good. With durability, I have my doubts. Car is usually fully weight loaded. Surely that had to do, with such a short life span. Bought another brand for the replacement, and will evaluate vs the other brand when they are worn out. So for the moment, I don't have facts to compare against another brand on the same car and subject to the same conditions. Will update review in the future.
