I have had these tires on my car for over 30,000 miles. They replaced the Firestone Affinity brand that came with the car. I found the Affinity tire a
little scary on snow and ice, but the Eagle GTs cured all of that. From the first mile, I could tell the difference in handling especially in bad weather conditions. My Chevy HHR feels like a little tractor in the snow instead of a toboggan. The tire compound is a little soft, so these aren't 70,000 mile tires. I am looking to replace the fronts as the wear bars are getting too close for comfort. The rears have a long way to go, so they will probably stay on a while longer. I have read reviews that say this is a noisy tire, but I have not detected anything abnormal. I have another car with Goodrich
tires and they are no quieter than the GTs. I like the confident feeling I have with these Eagle GTs and can recommend them to anyone. They transformed
the ride and handling of the HHR, which was a nice little car from the beginning. If these had been the original equipment, my first blizzard in central
Illinois would not have been so harrowing!
